Air Motor Actuators: Absolute Safety Solutions for Harsh Environments

In explosive industrial environments or areas with limited power supply, Air Motor Actuators serve as the perfect alternative to traditional electric actuators. Powered by pneumatic dynamics, these products ensure powerful, stable, and absolutely safe operation.

We provide two optimized solutions tailored to your system\’s control requirements:

1. All-Air Type: Fully Electric-Free Operation

This is a purely pneumatic solution, utilizing 100% compressed air for both drive and control functions.

• Synchronized Construction: Includes an air motor for driving, integrated with pneumatic torque switches and limit switches.

• Easy Remote Control: Operation can be performed remotely via pneumatic piping, eliminating the need for complex electrical wiring.

• Popular Models:

  • L270: Developed on the foundation of the renowned L120 series.

  • SMBA Series: Equivalent to the standard SMB series, available in various sizes: SMBA-00, -0, -1, -2, and -3.

2. Air/Electric Type (Hybrid): Power & Precision

A perfect combination of pneumatic mechanical strength and electronic control intelligence.

• Powerful Drive: Utilizes an air motor to achieve high thrust and torque, facilitating the easy operation of heavy-duty valves.

• Smart Control: Feedback devices such as torque and limit switches utilize electrical systems. This allows the equipment to be seamlessly integrated into the plant\’s central control systems (PLC/SCADA) for maximum precision.

Why Choose Air Motor Actuators?

• ✅ Absolute Explosion Safety: By eliminating electricity (in the All-Air type), the device completely removes the risk of electrical sparking—ideal for high-risk areas like oil depots, chemical plants, or mines.

• ✅ Rugged Durability: Air motors feature a simple structure with fewer components prone to failure and superior overload capability compared to electric motors.

• ✅ Installation Flexibility: Perfect for outdoor locations, high-humidity areas, or highly corrosive environments where electrical stability is difficult to maintain.
