Waterproof-type Actuators (Flood resistant)
-
Applied units: SMB and JMB
-
Water resistance: Operable within 10 m underwater for up to 72 hours
-
Precautions:
-
Ensure proper connection of electric wires to prevent water ingress through the wire port during floods, which may reduce insulation performance.
-
Overhaul is not required after each flood (which usually occurs only a few times a year), but annual overhaul is recommended.
-
For seawater applications, additional anti-corrosion measures are required.
-
Sulfidation Resistant Actuators (for geothermal power plants)
-
Main application: Designed for geothermal power generation facilities.
-
Usage considerations:
-
Sulfidation treatment varies depending on on-site conditions; please provide details of the operating environment in advance.
-
If the sulfurizing gas atmosphere is weak, or if nitrogen gas is injected into the electric room during installation or inspection, the effectiveness of sulfidation treatment will be reduced.
-
Heat Resistant Actuators
-
Functionality: Capable of electric operation for a specified duration even when surrounded by fire.
-
Applied unit: SMB
-
Fire-resistance performance (based on fire simulation test):
-
Flame temperature: 1,200°C – 1,400°C
-
Operable for 15 minutes after ignition
-
Cold Resistant Actuators
Two grades are available depending on the ambient temperature:
-
Cold resistant type I: From –20°C to –40°C
-
Cold resistant type II: From –40°C to –60°C
